Last Dragon Age: Origins DLC To Address Morrigan's Departure

One last bit of paid downloadable content is coming to Dragon Age: Origins, and it's set to answer one of the biggest questions users had after chopping the head off of Ferelden's latest Blight: what's up with Morrigan?

Taking place a year after the fight with the Archdemon that closed the game's original storyline, "Witch Hunt" will allow adventurers and their crews to "confront" Morrigan after her mysterious departure. It will also address Morrigan's deep dark secret--the reason she decided to join up with the hero to begin with.

Witch Hunt will take place in a fresh, heavily forested area, as well as what appears to be a man-made cavern (go figure). The forest looks like it has a small dragon kin problem, while the cave-thing appears to be infested with skeleton-things or ghouls (again, go figure).

These ''powerful rewards'' have all been pretty bleh, thus far. Still I'm absolutely buying this when it comes out. This with the Liara DLC makes this one Wednesday I'm excited for <3

I haven't played Dragon Age, but the girls I know still do. That to me is a blessing, thanks Bioware!

Morrigan was an interesting character but I'm mostly interested in if "child"or "no child" is canon.

Very excited for this. Nice to know that they're wrapping up this particular storyline for my warden.

First DA:O DLC I will pick up, if it's done well enough I could see myself getting the expansion too.

I'm really curious as to what will happen storywise in this DLC. At the same time, it seems like it'll disregard some of the choices made in Origins, just like Awakening did. I say this because *spoilers* if you tell Morrigan at the end (in case you decided to have a baby with her) that you'll look for her, there's a panel that says you searched across the land but could never find her.

More than likely since Flemeth looks to play a large role in DA2. "

Dunno... Flemeth shows up in the first minutes of DA2 because Hawke lives in Lothering and all takes place before Lothering got pwnd.Bioware should just come out and say if "child"or "no child" is canon, if "dead Flemeth" or "alive Flemeth" is canon... and some other things... I know that "kind Alistar" is canon. "

Nah. Hawke's story transpires alongside the Origins storyline. Beginning in Lothering close to the start of Origins. "

I haven't touched any of the DLC, but i really want to find out what happens with Morrigan.

this DLC sounds great. if a GOTY version is released, it would make a great Christmas present.

The best character in DA was Shale and he was DLC :) a dlc which was cut-out to be offered as dlc :)

Morrigan was legitimately one of the my favorite video game characters in recent memory so I'm very excited about this.

Good, after this comes out I can finally play all of the DLC.

Finally a piece of DLC I am actually interested in. Will be picking this up.

Meh, I was hoping they would try and incorporate it into the main progression-line more than just as DLC. I mean, Flemmeth is in the 2, why not Morrigan is some twisted way?! I figured she was already Flemmeth, maybe I am wrong. I'll have to play it to find out.
