Mass Effect 2 Weapons DLC Out Today

i think these are just pointless!

344 comments...whether you buy the DLC or not, I'd say it served it's purpose: keeping everyone interested in the game.

I don't think I am a fan of buying just weapon DLC.  It seems pointless to upgrade your weapons when the story content has already been finished.

Well at least it seems reasonably priced.

Everyone doesn't buy all games on day one. Some actually waits because they have other games to play, low on money and/or, god forbid, have more important things to do in life. And when they do buy the game they don't rush through in a couple of hours/days. And hey, maybe also return to the game every now and then for a second or maybe a third/fourth/fifth playthrough. You gotta relax, take it easy, enjoy the game. Enjoy life. Enjoy the small things in life.  "

got this pack the other night, still yet to use the shotgun but the assault rifle is fun - and the laser sighted pistol is rewarding to use. good kick to it too

I started Mass Effect 2 and then got busy with other things.  All this DLC is going to be nice when I get back around to finishing the game.

Again, DLC is perfect for me at this point, i am so glad i got halfway through and got distracted by other releases. I come back to Mass Effect and all this new stuff is here.

 The new weapons are pretty awesome. I am really looking forward to the Liara DLC that Bioware is making. 

Hm... in a game that had too few guns to begin with, is it really right for them to charge for more weapons?

I'll probably end up buying it when the Shadow Broker DLC comes out. I'm starting to feel like in order to keep my S-Rank requires ongoing micro transactions. Which it does, but I really don't want to think about how much money I've spent on ME2 alone.

So much for Cerberus Network. Paying for missions is obviously a must by does Bioware really expect me to pay for three weapons? Thats adds nothing to the experience and doesnt make me want to play again.

One of these days I will catch up on all of the ME2 DLC. Probably a week before ME3 comes out :(

This content is so pointless for people who have completed and S-Ranked the game.

Wish this would have just been included with the Shadow Broker pack.

Ima wait till the shadow broker dlc comes out to get this. Screens look nice.

I just don't understand why you would need this after the game has been out this long.  I don't want to play it anymore.  I've already done two play-throughs.  I would have loved this a few months ago, though.

I don't have mass effect 2, but this might sway my opinion.

Now? if they got it out 5 month ago alot of ppl would have bought it. I dont think anyone would buy that and play through the game once again...

2 bucks isn't a lot, but it still seems a bit much for 3 guns. Fortunately, you can play the game just fine without paying extra. As someone once said, it's all about choice.

Always feel hard to warrant paying for something so small when everything already in the game seemed to do the job so well.

Bought the collector's edition new day 1, got some great free stuff, but now $ for some guns?  I really hope my Cerberus account is going to continue to be a worthwhile investment.

I don't care much about guns, but just seeing this article makes me want to play Mass Effect 2 again.
