SCEA is taking a page from DARE marketing in at least one of its upcoming PS Move-compatible titles. In 2011, a gaggle of beloved characters from venerable franchises associated with the PlayStation brand will be brought together for a single game. As announced this afternoon, Ratchet, Clank, Jak, Daxter, Sly, and Bentley are set to compose an action adventure mash-up tentatively dubbed Heroes on the Move.
A hero...on the move. Details are light, but we've gathered that Heroes on the Move is a party game that'll have you pummeling various baddies and solving puzzles in an attempt to restore the six heroes' respective universes from the cold grip of an "evil force" who is stealing cities. The game will use the PS Move motion controller in addition to the navigation controller. But despite being billed as a party game, it appears as if the title will only allow up to two players.
Kinda sad this all we've seen of Sly for awhile and maybe all we see for awhile more. I hope its good. I'll keep an eye on it but if its a move (that name is weird, i feel I should have quotes around it or something) controller only thing I am not really interested.
I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't keep the character's art styles. (and with those games themed levels)
Current style is alright looking I guess, but I would have loved for Sly levels and characters to actually LOOK like sly levels and characters. (same with ratchet and jak)
I have a feeling that Naughty Dog/Sucker Punch/Insomniac would NOT let these characters be used if the game was bad, especially after how they must feel after what happened to Crash/Spyro. Maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part though.
This concept of blending these 3 games together sounds amazing but the trailer looks awful, a down grade from the ratchet and clank future games at least in the graphics department. Also sly has weird dead eyes.
I'm just excited for this based on the idea alone. 3 of my favorite series combined into one game? That's something I only thought possible in my dreams.

Same here, I always thought about how awesome it would be to have a Jak/R&C crossover. I really want to know what this is though, is it a party game? An Action-Platformer? What? Pretty much what happened when that came up. I'll buy the hell out of that Sly Collection, I just wish I could A) Get a brand new Jak title or B) Get a collection of its own.
