There Will Be More Sonic 4 Episodes, Sega Knows There Were Problems

Sega fucked up their marketing, the names were mixed up.

At this point, they should just try to make an incredibly awful Sonic game and see what happens.

I hope Sonic 4 Episode 2 introduces some new characters because I have run out of combination for my fan fiction.  I might have to resort to doing some cross over with my Funky Winkerbean fan fiction series.

Fix Sonic's speed issue, give me new levels (not just rehashes of decades old shit), call him Dr. Robotnik, no homing attack, cut out the dumb additions you made, etc. etc. etc.  There's SO much that Sega needs to do to fix Sonic (and no one at Sega gives a shit), that they should just stop.  I wish Sega would stop raping Sonic's corpse into further dust, and garbage.  It's a dream that won't come to pass.

They always do the same thing.

"This time it will be better! It will have this "old feature" fans always wanted!"

Like Sonic Generations. It looks like they're saying "WE PUT THE THING IN THE OTHER THING SO NOW YOU HAVE YOUR OLD AND YOUR NEW TOO, WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT?!"

When it was released, fans and pro reviewers loved it. Then a month passed and, like a herd of sheep, fanboys and nerds started hating it and dissing the game.

I'm sorry, I just can't even close to understand what this article says. Multiple sentences just seem unfinished, I'm lost. I get the core of what's happening, but jeez, E3's really wiping you out, huh?

As somebody who found Sonic 4: Episode 1 fairly enjoyable in spite of its faults, it's nice to hear Sega saying they've taken consumer views on board for future episodes. If Episode 2 offers up more of the same style of gameplay and throws in some original boss battles this time, I'll happily hand over my Microsoft space bucks for it.

At the risk of everyone snapping at me I really don't see why this game gets so much hate. Just because it isn't a spot on recreation of the Genesis titles doesn't mean it's bad. It's not as good as Sonic 3 & Knuckles but I'd argue that it's better than the first two. Most of the complaints I hear about this game tend to be about things that are ALSO wrong with the older titles. Seriously, go back and play them, they're not as flawless as you might remember.

damn alot of anger,i really enjoy sonic,i loved my master system and sonic 1 and evolved with it,i'm 26 now and still enjoy sonic,people who don't like sonic or sonic games don't buy them and don't be so negative to people who do enjoy them because it doesn't effect you.

2d Sonic games have always sucked. There's like 5 paths through the level, so they reward you for playing the level five times and optimizing your run. That's shitty level design. SA2 was great, but these 2D games are frankly just boring.

Isn't this exactly what they did with Mortal Kombat 9, except not release it in episodes?

Sonic franchise, stop now, people love the early ones & should just play those as they're just not going to replicate whatever the diehard fans are being asking for to make them happy.

Not sure about this one but Sonic Generations looked damn great. Gonna buy it for sure, if it's long enough.

I'm just super pumped to see an original looking Sonic. As a long time fan of the older games, Genesis naturally, it is great.
