While I agree Alex, the non conformist/anarchist hacker types like going after people in chaotic means and probably shouldn't be prodded. I think it's better to just ignore them.

For as much as people hate hackers like this, they are often the only whistle blowers on how little corporations care about the security of your personal information. Think about it, if a group of random hackers motivated by "the lulz" can do this, then imagine how easy it must be for criminal organizations employing professional hackers to do the same. The worst thing is, I doubt most these companies would publicly admit to losing such data unless it was made public by the hackers themselves.

Don't know about everyone else, Bethesda, but one free copy of each Rage and Skyrim will make things a lot better between us.

With the video game community of developers & fans, it wouldn't take too much for some of the developers to put together some of the promotional stuff from E3 or other things (thanks in credits, name used in game, DLC, ect.) as a small reward & thanks for someone who's interested in helping put these idiots behind bars with some true info that leads the authorities right to them.

We shouldn't talk about or cover the stuff the do anymore. Even if it isn't 100% of the reason they do it, I'm sure all of the attention they get does nothing but reinforce their sense of accomplishment and self-worth. I bet they get a kick out of it. Guys... they took down The Escapist Magazine because they reported on their attacks on Bethesda. They are attacking the press and trying to silence them. I applaud Alex and Giant Bomb for it's courage.
