[UPDATE] Giant Bomb Premium Accounts On Sale

So I bought an extra GiantBomb subscription back when they were on sale, which means my account is premium for the next 2 years. Does this mean I get a 2 year GameSpot membership?

@snide: Okay, so question. I need to update my credit card info before billing this month (my last card expired last month, and the new one has different info). The page linked to when I click on the message asking me to update doesn't have any spot for me to actually go and update it. How can I get the correct info into the system so I can keep giving you guys my money?

@snide I'm still a little confused by this. Do annual members get a free year of Gamespot, get it free until Dec 31st, or do they get it free for however long they get their subscription renewed until...? Currently mine runs until September 2013, does that mean I have Gamespot until then too?

Well Jokes aside the sale is cool, though I wish there was a way to commit for a year without having to pay all at once , cause the only reason I don't go Golden is because I can't afford to pay the cash all at once on my credit card, even though I intent to keep my premium membership active from now on.

Thats cool for monthlies. Since I have been a Monthly Sub since January 2011, havnt had the lump sum to dump at once into GB for a year as much as Id like to. If I am getting treated just like an annual sub as I myself have already been subbed for a year, It makes me not feel segregated...and left in the cold.......with out cake.........otherwise COOL BEANS!

Say I'm a monthly subscriber and I grab the yearly for $35. Will that kill the automatic pay for the monthly membership, or is there an extra step I need to take? And at the end of the year, will it switch back over to monthly, or auto renew the yearly subscription for the $50 or however much.

Edit: double Jesus. i clicked on one of the videos that popped up after this one was done, an old Gamespot retrospective of the Playstation 1, with young Jeff, Brad (looks exactly the same) and Matt Rorey(!). Rorey had a Simpson comic book guy lisp (that 'zh' sound for 'S's). I'm so happy for him he got that fixed.

And unrelated, the Witcher 2 enhanced edition is downloading! So excited!

I'm being serious when I say how many of the other premium website services did you even use on a regular basis, hell even occasionally.

Not to mention this is a different company altogether, AND they haven't even been here for a couple of months yet, they're not going to switch companies and immediately drop prices. Like they stated in the first bombcast after being bought, they still have to keep numbers up, CBSI doesn't want a website bringing in zero money but still spending.

@Branthog: I'll say Amen to the dancing. I honestly still feel like I get my dollar's worth at $35, or even $50 for the shirt. These guys are a serious source of entertainment for me.

This whole time I've been pretty confused about the plans concerning memberships come April 15th. If this Gamespot sub is for Gamespot only I don't care. If it's some how an extension of Giant Bomb's sub, awesome. If neither, whatever. I'm still subbing for the full $50 because it makes me feel loved to cover myself in fabric that represents them.

Normally it's $50 and you get a $15 t-shirt code, making the actual membership $35.
And this "sale" is $35, and you don't get a t-shirt code.
 
That's the same price for the membership guys. Same price!

Only difference is that normally you get the tshirt code even if you don't want one. Now you can opt out.
 
 

Also, completely unrelated but I just noticed that they added Gamespot logo below the old whiskey style footer. That's a little tacky. I don't mind that it says CBSi and whatever, but the Gamespot logo seems so out of place.
