I got to play a couple rounds of Zipper Interactive's MAG (the title formerly known as the Massive Action Game) at PAX recently, with the intention of heading back to a computer and telling you all about it. But MAG isn't a game you can speak intelligently about after a mere 20 or 30 minutes, which may not surprise you for a team-based shooter that accommodates up to 256 players. So I'm going to spend some more time with the MAG beta here in the office before I try to write about it as if I know what I'm talking about.
While I educate myself, you should listen to a guy who does know what he's talking about: Ben Jones from Zipper, who I got to speak with at length about MAG, how the beta's going, similarities to SOCOM, and more. Also, it was really hot in that room. Watch!Â
