Official Reveal Trailer AC 3

Really hope Ubisoft stick to their claims of being unbiased, trailer came across a bit preaching to the American choir. But it's a trailer, and we still don't know the full details. Still feeling a bit unfulfilled by the setting, past AC games have been set in times that have captured my interest but that's a preference thing and certainly a not knock again the game. Those big battles should be interesting though.

The snow, the wilderness, the wolves, that whistle - definitely evokes a lil Red Dead Redemption. Probably why I'm finding myself all of sudden so bloody bumped for AC3! I haven't even played Revelations yet... but I'm sure I can manage.

Oh, and:

Is a lot of what I got outta this.

My first thought. If the wilderness reminds me at least once of Tall Trees, this is day one.

Hell yes, what a great trailer. This will be the first Assassin's Creed I've purchased since II and I cannot wait for it. The change of scenery is a welcome sight, because I have never really cared for it's previous environment at all. Ubisoft can do some amazing things in this storyline and make a lot of "alternate" universe lore if they really want to go nuts. I want to know if they are going to make it that you were John Wilkes Booth :P

@dekkadekkadekka: Awww man, I thought that was going to be an alternate trailer where instead we see the British preparing to march. =/

SO EXCITED!

Also, AMERICA.

Don't care if that has nothing to do with Revolutionary America.

For the folks saying Ubisoft are doing this to gain extra sales in the US, keep in mind they don't really need to. Didn't Revelations sell super well, which is something considering it's one the poorest in the series. Don't get me wrong, having the American flag flowing about on screen won't exactly hurt it with American audiences but I've read comments like that a number of times and it's total BS.

Look forward to a gameplay trailer at least, I'll give it a chance. This trailer wasn't great, certainly not as good as past trailers. But Ubisoft need something in there to hook me and so far I'm not seeing anything.

Oh Patrice Désilets how we miss you! His he still working on that Del Toro game or something?

If Ubisoft announced that they'd got Patrice back I'd be all over this, even if I didn't care for the setting.
