Mono was the only mode where I really felt like Audio Surf was translating my music into the course in a meaningful capacity.
Hopefully Mono Returns.

I loved AudioSurf but I must say I got hooked on that Beat Hazard game, like AS but a lot more to do!

Audiosurf 2 would be appreciated, though I'm one of those who could only get into Mono.

Good thing Alex is still here to write stuff for the site. The rest of the guys seem occupied with.. well, business stuff or something. I hope this week will be better and less hectic for the guys.

Oh and great for fans of Audiosurf, I guess. I always felt it was a little too much of a distraction from the actual music, but maybe I had to "get into it" and just couldn´t do it.

This is great news to me, having similarly played the heck out of Audiosurf. The indulgent heads-up to the beta is most welcome.

There is a serious problem when I see 'more corkscrews' as a value add for a sequel.

Since its made with Unity I hope they actually release an Android/iOS version. I can see the game being pretty cool to play on a tablet.

It has sold extremely well on Steam. Who you personally do or don't know is irrelevant.

Beat Hazard is one of my favorite games... you will not be disappointed! And hopefully you don't have a seizure.

Audiosurf is a great game, and has lots of great ideas. Hopefully the sequel will add more depth, this is definitely worth looking forward to.

Are they finally going to add momentum? Its the only thing the original game was missing and I've been clamoring for it for a long time now.

What I want to know is whether this one will be playable on a Mac.

RDIO or Spotirfy should build this into their desktop clients. Audiosurf is such a blast, but I am moving away from using Mp3s stored on my hard drive for my music.

I loved it. Hope he's improved the audio recognition system. Anything it improves on will probably amaze me.

Strangely, Audisurf currently stands as the Steam game I've spent the most time playing, so... neat!

I think a lot more people played this game then you think Alex. It was one of my favorites for a long time. Excited for this new one!

I'm really curious as to what they will add in the new game, the game already feels complete. Hopefully they make it as big of an improvement as something like the jump geometry wars 1 to 2.

I put over 50 hours on the original Audiosurf, and I loved every last minute of it. If this newest one ever gets released on the Mac, I will buy this day one (since my iMac has a beefier graphics card and processor compared to my older PC).

YES!!! I all over this when it makes its debut.

I can't say Audiosurf is the sort of game that immediately suggests its next iteration. It'll be interesting to see just where Fitterer goes with the next game. What's the next step for AudioSurf?
