So this came out yesterday/today for ze PS4. Is the AI in this even half-decent, so you could think about playing it alone, or should one just head online? Course I do have a chance for split-screen with my better half, but that still leaves the 3rd player controlled by AI.

@glottery: I recommend playing it online. There is AI, but only for a handful of the characters, so you don't see very many different matchups (unless the PS4 version is greatly expanded over the previous versions). By all means, the AI is good for just practicing a character to learn how their abilities work and which upgrades you like or dislike, but I recommend that you try your hand at the online multiplayer after playing bots a few times.

I agree with Bison, the AI is passable but nothing to write home about. The online play is fun and not to crazy that you can't learn the game while playing online.
