Just another page on my nostalgia trip and reinstalled BG2SOA/throne of bhaal and the music for the main menu totally blew me away.

Curse of Monkey Island had some pretty good theme music.

I like the STALKER theme..

I love the HD Remix menu music.

Main menu music is an essential part of any video game! It needs to fit the feel of the game, and aid the player in making a selection. or something...

Menus should be forbidden from having music.

If menus didnt have music, I would have played Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne/Lucifers Call a lot sooner instead of sitting in the menu for hours listening to that fucking awesome music.

I'm kidding obviously :P  I love awesome menu music and that particular tune is one of my favorite pieces of music to listen to to relax.

This is the version of it at the end of the game, but the menu one is the quieter part played over and over again.

I actually really like that Baldur's gate 2 theme, I'm a fairly big fan of the game, still play Icewind dale and BG 2 when I need to pass time.

Edit: having listened to that street fighter one it's awesome.
