You wanted a 3D platformer that's not Super Mario 64? Here you go.

I just beat this game on this very same day I wrote this review, and I can honestly tell you people, this is such an awesome game to play only if you are into the 3D platformer genre of video games. It has a cheesy, but decent story, some cool puzzling into getting your "Jiggies" and some interesting characters into this weird, but fun mix. I must admit that once I was getting close to the end of the game, I really wasn't caring to much for completing it 100%, though it was still fun discovering out each level, and spending a decent amount of time just wandering around.

Something that I also would like for you to know is that you are going to have to be patient in terms of walking around, due that this game has aged well, though this still used to be an N64 videogame. The control scheme had to be updated for the Xbox One version, and regularly, people who give this game a go on this day and age are accustomed to dealing with fast traveling in between the map, or other things like sprinting. This game will require patience, trust me. I lost it once you are climbing a big ass fucking tree. The moment you fall off, you gotta start from zero. That is the shittiest feeling someone can get from a video game. Having to start specific aspects ALL over again are a pain in the ass.

Having some details aside, I am pretty sure that this is due that this game is one of the first 3D platformers in the N64. I truly enjoyed playing this game 95% of the time, and I can assure you that you will, too. If you want to give this game an opportunity entertain you, please take my advice, and have a good one.

A slightly improved version of a classic. 0

Banjo Kazooie was originally released in 1998, when platformers were king and everyone was trying to imitate Mario 64. Now, 10 years later the game has been re-released for Xbox Live Arcade with HD graphics and Leaderboard Support. Although it is almost entirely a straight port it is still an excellent game and most definitley worth your $15 (or it was free if you pre-ordered BK Nuts and Bolts).Teh Graphikz From an artistic standpoint the Rare charm is still in full force, as almost everything h...

Ten years ago, the original Banjo-Kazooie bust into the gaming scene by Rare for the Nintendo 64. It was the developer's return to the genre that put themselves to the map, which is the platformer. While it is their first 3D platformer, it was a great fan favorite on Nintendo's system using what Super Mario 64 did as a template to take the genre to different heights. It introduced us to the bear, Banjo, and his bird buddy, Kazooie, as they attempt to save his sister Tooty from the clutches of Gr...
