    Overview

    Bard's Gold is a platforming game developed and published by Pixel Lantern for PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.Pixel Lantern

    Story

    While the player is adventuring, their satchel containing the legendary Bard's Gold is stolen by a goblin. As the player gives chase to the goblin to reclaim the gold, they step through a portal to another world. The player must get the gold back from the evil goblin.

    Gameplay

    The game is a 2D Retro slow-paced platformer with light RPG elements where the player has to find the key within the level and get to the door in order to progress through the game.

    The layout of the levels is different each time the player dies and gets a game over. After a game over has occurred players can use the gems collected in the previous run to permanently upgrade some aspects.

    There are three difficulty levels to the game, each successive one making the game harder by giving less lives, more traps, or even no checkpoints.
