This game literally plays itself.
Right from the start, the only thing Barney: H&S has going for it is it's colorful graphics. You go though a variety of levels, each with bright and vibrant images. That's where anything good about this game stops.
I am serious when I say, this game plays itself. Most games have some sort of animation when their character doesn't move for so long. This might be anything from stretching, falling asleep, or doing something funny. This game, Barney starts walking again...by himself. That's right. If you don't move Barney for so long, he starts walking again. Any other game this would cause your character to get killed, but because this game has no enemy's, or threats of any kind, there's nothing that can hurt you that would cause you to die.
The only real playability this game has, is pushing the D-Pad to the right. There is only one path to follow, which is right, and Barney will automatically find a child if he gets near him or her. This, combined with the fact that there are no branching paths, no enemy's to harm you, and Barney starts walking when you don't press anything, this game will beat itself after you get past the "Press Start" screen.
There is nothing fun about this game. It requires no skill, and the only button you really have to press is the start button, because anything after the "Press Start" screen is purely optional. Don't play this game.
