I think I'm done with collector's editions, at least for games, unless they are crazy cheap, but they just take up way to much space.

I think I'll just go with the regular edition on this one.

Ew, I do not like the lack of an actual case for the game. Everything else looks awesome, but I've had bad experiences with those "the disc is in the book!" dealies.

Not that it matters, since I never buy SEs, but still.

I had mine pre-ordered till i saw the disc setup, it comes with some nice goodies but i just ended up getting the regular edition, im sure the CE will be $50-60 by black friday and i will pick it up then since i only paid $27 for my copy, ill just sell the disc to a friend.

It looks much better than I thought, good stuff...but I still couldnt pay that much for it....:(

Sweet. Damn shame the PC version doesn't have a C.E.

Pretty bummed it doesn't come with an actual game case. Paid extra and we don't get a little bit of extra plastic? Sad.

I'm quite glad I decided not to get this. Putting the disc in the back of that book which I will probably look at once seems dumb, and I don't care for the statue. I would have totally bought a collector's edition for Arkham City if it was cooler, I am getting the steel book edition instead which is a game case at least.

Basically for an extra 40$ you get a Daughtry/Panic At The Disco Cd, a toy, a cardboard cut out of Gotham City, a movie you already have, a book thats available for free online, a beta test for a different game altogether, and finally a manual that tells you where the pointy spots are on the toy.....

BEST INVESTMENT EVAH!

Thank you for posting that video. Canceled my pre-order for the Collectors Edition and just got a Steelbook thing instead and will probably put the money that would've gone to the CE towards a nice Black & White Batman-statue instead.

I was standing in Best Buy with the CE in my hands about 20 min ago. I just couldn't bring myself to drop $40 extra on it.

In part because of all the other games I'm blowing my already limited budget on, the fact that I already have a bad ass special edition Batman statue I bought a little over a year ago for about $90 (I can not overstate my admiration for the caped crusader, but that's for another thread), and also because I fully intend to purchase the game again when it comes out on PC.

All I know is that this game has one of my favorite DC characters (that is potentially viewed as a "bad batman character" but redeemed themselves after heading out on their own), even if they're trying to make their identity unknown. I IDed them as soon as I first saw them.

Nope. The only exclusive you get with the CE is a Batman toy....

I didn't look at the whole thing, but nice video.

I'm still waiting for mine, so I didn't want to ''spoil'' it for myself.

The only thing I find unfortunate is that they put the game in the artbook, which is kind of weird. I'm gonna have to get myself the cover-art/case for it.
