Batman ending (spoilers) a simple question

When batman carries out the joker, he doesn't respond to any questions from the chief dude (gordon?)

Anyways, although joker would have espaced and caused more misery, batman says he would have given him the cure.

Now, am i the only one thinking batman is sad that the joker is dead, it seems there relationship is kinda bound to each other. Like the constant cat and mouse game between them.

Maybe I'm way off, i just have that thought when he carried out the joker

Yeah that's kinda the point of the entire franchise, they feed off each other.

It pretty much shadows the last joker scene from the dark knight.

Batman and Joker hate each other and love each other at the same time, it's the same type of relationship between Mario and Bowser.

Joker ends up dying, but he is singing a song at the end of the credits, he could possibly be alive. However, that's not all. If you return to the still mill, where the Joker had his base of operations setup in, you'll see Harley's old suit. Keep looking on the ground by the suit, and you'll see a pregnancy test... Say what the...? That's right, Harley has Joker's love child in her, and she and her child are going to give Gotham, and maybe the world, hell for killing the Joker. Need more proof? Watch the end of the credits and you will here Harley Quinn singing the classic lullaby "...hush little baby don't say a word, mommas gonna kill the whole damn world..." Oh yeah, this means that Batman Arkham City won't be Rocksteady's last Batman game... Who knows what possibilities will enter the third game!?

If you read my spoiler block, you know its going to be super freaking awesome!

Replying to your question: the only reason that Batman didn't say anything is because Joker basically killed himself by attacking Batman... End of story.

@SHADOWINFINITE: That pregnancy test is one very well hidden Batman Beyond easter egg, because in Batman Beyond, she has grand-daughters, Dee-Dee.
 
It would be great if they tied this into Batman Beyond somehow.

@N7: Well they already did with the costume! lol But yes! That would be awesome...I love that scene with her and the deedees where she slaps them with the cane.
