Memories... oh lovely lovely memories

I jumped into 1942 in 2003, played the hell out of it with the clan Northern Brigade! (I miss those days. Still think that was the best times I've ever had with gaming. Never found a community quite like it again)

Along with OG BF, I got into Desert Combat and Eve of Destruction (my favorite mod, did you know they are still releasing patches for it!?)

played the demo for BFBC on my XBOX360 but bought BFBC2 for PC few months back

i did play 1942 for a small period of time when it was released was laggy as hell on my 56k dial up lol

these are the battlefield games i've played as they were released.  Missed out on Vietnam and the console battlefield games. Guess i could easily say Battlefield 2 is my favorite.

Missed 1942 and was very late into BF2 as my PC was crap. Loved 'nam though.

BF2 and the Bad Companies (meh). I didn't touch any extension to the BF2 franchise (2142, etc) because, frankly, they didn't seem to have consistently good reviews and I was too happy with BF2 to stray.

BF3 is gorgeous, but from just the same map non-stop in the alpha and beta, I can't be certain if it's going to reclaim that magic that it had back then. I hope it does. CS and BF2 remain the best experiences I've ever had in gaming and multi-player (and certainly the greatest time-sink ever). It would be fantastic if BF3 does that for me all over again.

First battlefield I played was 2142 and I thought it was amazing!! Loved everything about it. Titan mode, for me, is still the best battlefield mode out there. Wish they did something similar in BF3. Substitute a Titan for a underground bunker or Destroyer/aircraft carrier. Can only dream.

I only played 1942 and Vietnam with bots because I didn't know how to set anything up and couldn't get it to work online. I played the shit out of 2 until my PC couldn't really run it after patch 1.4 for some reason, jumped into 2142 for a bit, and I've put almost 100 hours into BC2 since August.

Everything but 1943 even Modern Combat

I've played every Battlefield game since 1942. But I love playing in the 'bot match' mode.

Now that Dice has removed mod support for these Battlefield games, they are decidedly less fun to play on PC.

Just look at the cool mods for Battlefield 2 on moddb.com, and you'll see why the executives at DICE should get AIDS for removing mod support.

I never played Modern Forces.
 
Hoping for a new 2142.

I heard about Battlefield 2 in mid 2007. Downloaded a torrent to see what it's all about, played for a a week, hated it, deleted it. 
Then again in 2008 I tried it once more and I fell in love, found four great servers that I frequented and joined a clan. Then I went out and bought it. Later on I bought BF Vietnam, didn't play a lot of that, but hey, a BF game. 
 
in 2010 I bought Bad Company 2, then after that I played some BF Heroes and BF Play4Free, then I bought 2142 and didn't like it very much.
