Battlefield Heroes is EA DICE's casual take on the Battlefield series. It features a cartoon-like graphical style and is played from a third person perspective. It is also a "Play 4 Free" game.
Well, right now the game is down, so i cant go play it, so i'll make a post about it!
At first i didn't like this game at all, it was kinda shallow, certain classes seemed underpowered, theres no server browserand i did not likeonly being able to have a weapon temporarily.
But recently, ive gotten to play with some awesome people, who actually say Good game and dont freak out when they die, ive gotten used to the controls, started mixing up the different abilities, and ive had a ton of fun. Maybe im the only one but still.....
Also they released a suit that you dont have to pay for, so you can run around looking like Michael Jackson in Smooth Criminal
So ya, every game is like this, so ya... its awesome
I'm with the OP. Originally I was pretty harsh on the game, but I am now really warming to it. I actually think it's quite "pimp" (and so is my avatar).
I played in the Open Beta for about a month before release, and I really like how the game came out. The updater kinda sucks whenever I have to download a patch because it takes forever, but the games are smooth and I've only encountered really bad lag once. The player community isn't too bad, and the times when you enter a match with a team that works together are so worth struggling through some of the less cooperative teams. The maps are pretty good and offer plenty of possible choke points; none stand out as horrendous really.
