Mikemcn just started a topic, Why is middleware so expensive?I suppose its expensive for the same reason Windows 7 or adobe photoshop is. But what makes a developer SDK such as speed tree (Ten Thousand per kit.) or source, so damn expensive? It may be a relatively intricate program, but why must it be so damn expensive, are you paying all that extra money for it being user friendly? Mikemcn just started a topic, Fallout and playing old games on fancy new computers. in the Fallout board.Seeing as I have a quad core computer, Windows Vista, a 1920 by 1080 monitor and this is a game from the mid 90's, Im kinda having crazy issues with trying to make Fallout work. The screen goes black sometimes and when i move my cursor the screen begins to reappear but only in the area of my cursor.
