Bite The Bullet is the second game by 9_6. It features the same two tone Game Boy aesthetic. Structured like a bullet hell game, it is a series of boss battles, where each level is a new timed boss. Each level changes the two tone colors.
Instead of power-ups, the game has a metered slow motion ability. In order to stay in slow motion, the player must maneuver close to the enemy bullets. The slow motion increases in strength corresponding to the number of bullets that are near the player, often slowing the game to a crawl. The game also features a replay mode.
