Blink Winkel is the player character in Ever17 and a major character in the Infinity series overall. He is also a minor character in Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward.

    Ever17: The Out of Infinity

In 2017 and 2034, Blick Winkel was lured to the three dimensional world by intentionally having the same events play out almost exactly the same in both time periods. In both time periods, Blick Winkel possessed the body of a person who had recently become trapped in the underwater theme park LeMu with several other people. In 2017 he possessed Takeshi, and in 2034 he possessed Hokuto. This was done so that Coco, who had been infected with a deadly virus in 2017, could be saved with knowledge from the future.

    Remember11: The Age of Infinity

In 2001, Sayaka is lost to her brother Satoru forever. Satoru eventually finds the cause of this loss to be due to Blick Winkel. Because Blick Winkel exists out of time, should he be trapped any influence he has had over the world should cease to exist. Therefore, Satoru devises a plan to trap Blick Winkel in a time loop. It is unknown if his plan was ultimately successful, but it was ironically most likely the cause of the loss of his sister. During the "story" Blick Winkel was shown meant to trap him in a time loop, he is shown a snippet of Sayaka in 2001. It is likely that the very act of seeing Sayaka in the context he did is what caused the loss to take place.

In Remember11, Blick Winkel is referred to as "that guy"

    Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward

In 2074 Blick Winkel possesses Kyle Klim, sending Kyle's consciousness back in time to 2028. Blick Winkel was told that unlike others, his own consciousness can freely travel anywhere and that his help was also needed in 2028.

The game's director, Kotaro Uchikoshi, later clarified this was a what-if scenario. As the 2011 Japanese earthquake was still fresh in his mind, he wished to end the game on a more hopeful note. As such, Kyle's journey to 2028 as well as several other happier endings seen during this sequence are non-canon. However, Uchicoshi also clarified that Blick Winkel did have a unseen hand in the next game, Zero Time Dilemma. He also implied that while Kyle did not travel back in the world of the game, 2028 in the real world has yet to come and the audience may get their answer then.

In Virtue's Last Reward, Blick Winkel is referred to as "?".
