I managed to get my hands on the Blur beta earlier and man, I am seriously impressed. Blur is really good! Basically Blur is Wipeout/Mario Kart but with real cars. The online can support up to 20 players racing at once and then it gets real crazy! Blur does something I wish a lot of other games did, they just copied Modern Warfare’s online structure... all of it. Gaining levels, challenges, perks, playlist matchmaking and unlocking new stuff. Just take Modern Warfare 2 and replace shooting dudes with racing cars and you have Blur online. I think the best way for you to understand Blur is to watch my video (cheap plug). I knew nothing about this game but now I am completely sold.

Looking good, also, what beta is this from?  All I heard about was the event at Liverpool and the beta that starts march 8th.(I have a key to this one, WOOT!)

I got in on the Fileplanet beta when they were still calling it the "Secret Xbox 360 Beta". I got my key yesterday.

Getting my key on the 8th. Looks so cool.

What's the frame rate like? It's really hard to tell from youtube.

Great video.  This game came out of nowhere for me, especially when it's initial trailer failed to impress when pitted next to Split/Second.  I love all the weapon effects - it really makes the game's artistic design stand out.  As long as the car handling makes for fun driving and the weapons/mods are balanced, I am pretty much guaranteed to love the beta.

 I really think everyone should try and get into the beta. I was shocked at how much fun Blur is.
