This DLC adds a new character and class; Gaige the Mechromancer. Her action skill gives her the ability to summon a robot named Death Trap. The DLC also includes other items found in the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club, which was initially offered as a bonus to those who pre-ordered the game. The first expansion to Borderlands 2 adds several new, pirate-themed, desert areas including a town called Oasis as well as two new raid bosses.
