i.e. you want to do the sub missions in 2.5 to get the maxed out level rewards since sub missions do not reset in 2.5 only story missions do

Feel free to do all the sub missions as they stand on your 1st play through

P.S. Your back up plan is to play DLC using a max out level character(s) which is gonna have far more cooler shit obviously ^__^

Alternatively, just do them anyway, most of the side-missions just give a level-appropriate green. If you're in PL2.5 you'll be swimming in level 50 green guns.

He's saying not to do missions in your second playthrough until you start playthrough 2.5. All the side missions that you didn't start in playthrough 2 will be upgraded to level 50 (as well as the rewards) once you start playthrough 2.5. I'm not making much sense so here's what I just said only understandable.

I highly recommend folks check out that link. There's a list of every quest (at least it looks like every quest) that gives a blue-or-better reward for completion. Those are the quests you'll definitely want to save for your 2.5 playthrough.

+1 on the link. Very informative. Nearing the end of playthrough 1 right now and I planned to charge through again like normal, but now I'll hold off on the side quests.
