First look at this what are they interested in blizzard for?

They're making an MMO, I say it in every thread but get ignored. It's why their deal with Activision is a "10 year" deal instead of a "X number of games" deal.

If they're being safe, FPS. No doubt their sick of that shit though so my guess would be mmorpg

Highly doubt it.

We do not need any more MMOS right now. With APB and STO failing. The new star wars one is a decent hope. And firefall looks real fun.

What we need is not more shitty MMOs, but good quality ones...

Doesn't necessarily mean this will be an MMO in the traditional sense.

It could very well be that Bungie want to take the online focus of the Halo games and make an equally popular and competitive online experience in their new project(s). Perhaps discard the idea of a single player and do something similar to the Unreal Tournament games by having the offline experience act as a tutorial for the online.

Except unlike Epic I feel confident in wagering that Bungie know how to make a fun, competitive and quality online experience.

Huh?  UT2K4 was and still is one of the MOST incredible and enjoyable online experiences available, far surpassing almost every other online FPS and TPS game made since.  It had well balanced game types, quick to learn yet hard to master controls, arcade action, fun to control and use vehicles and most of all really visceral gameplay.

....

Just because Halo is fun on a console, that doesn't make it particularly great in terms of design.
