My favourite CoD.
Now, while I'm a BF fanatic, I like to give credit where it's due, and in my own personal oppinion... Black Ops is the best CoD so far. When I first played it, I was thinking "I have to finish the story." Now, right there, if a game can do that, it gains points. It draws you in. It's interesting. While I admit it wasn't TOO different from the story of most shooters, especially CoD games, it was still very good. It was well executed, though the ending left something to be desired for. The multi-player wasn't very different from the previous instalment, but I like the additions and changes they made. I love that they let you buy what you want instead of unlocking everything in between. I did not how ever, and this is a quip I have, like the voting on maps system... I know that's how it's been for ever but I dislike it, and I will never stop disliking it. If a party wants to play Nuke Town, they should be able to just find a Nuke Town server and be done with it. The sniping needs work in multi-player as well. You have no idea how enraging it is to see people screwing around and trick shooting.
CoD: Black Ops gets a 3.5 from me for an interesting, but still not very original story and spotty multi-player.
