I know they're supposed to be up tomorrow but will they be out tonight at midnight?
Thanks. This has been probably asked and answered numerous times but I can't seem to find the answer.

@TehFlan: I want to see reviews from honest sites to find out if the game is dreadful or not. I know IGN will probably give it a 9.5 but i want to read some low score reviews before i decide to purchase.
I find it odd the review embargo lasts until this long, I would think review scores would generate more site visits. I guess there is not as much confidence in this game as in previous. That said, I'm still buying it because so many of my friends play it I feel almost obligated to play with them, it's about peer pressure and I cave. I do enjoy the game, but not nearly as much as the rest of the world seems to.

Well, not to mention any other games by name, but at least Jeff won't be first able to play Modern Warfare 3 a minute before other sites are officially posting their reviews.
This is the first time ever that I want to read some reviews and impressions on a CoD game before I will purchase. I hate waiting. I don't know why publishers put these embargos on until release day. But since I have to wait, they will have to wait for my money. I'm wondering if it's just that super hyped games can only be negatively effected by early reviews, so it makes better business sense to wait. I don't know.
i can already smell the group of weird internet haters shaving off their stubble to get ready to fill the internet with hate
a) OMG MW3 is so dumbed down, only idoits enjoy this game
or
b) OMG MW3 is sooo overrated Activision must of spent thousands on that review.
or
c) OMG MW3 is such a rehash of MW2, why can't they just try something new instead of just rehashing.
the usual text book answers from the weird internet haters.

@SpaceInsomniac: I didn't know that. I don't follow reviews closely, but I do enjoy reading a few journalists' reviews so I'll come back and check them out at a later date.
I was just poking fun when I said "not to mention any other games by name." If you don't know the full story, EA first allowed Jeff to play Battlefield 3 (via Steam unlock) one minute before all other sites were about to publish their reviews. On the Bombcast, Jeff called it one of the top five worst review experiences of his career. My point was that even if reviews can't be posted until the midnight launch, at least Activsion isn't pulling any crap like that.
Please note that I blame EA for all that, not DICE, and not Battlefield 3 itself, which is still a great game. EA is easily my most despised developer of this console generation.
Saw this from CVG, but keep in mind, it's some random website I've never heard of before: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/325318/modern-warfare-3-review-first-verdict-is-55/

That link got me excited. I thought that the score would be 55/100. But, no, it's 5/5. Bummer.
I do hate that the game companies can dictate when the reviews come out. It just makes it seem like they are hiding something. People like me who run out to get the game have to take the risk or lose some of the excitement of getting the game right when it comes out to see why the review was held up.
How is it that other games like Uncharted 3, Batman AC, Assassins Creed, and BF3 get reviewed and posted days before the game is released but MW3 has to wait until it's midnight release to be posted? Is it really an embargo or is it something else?
@MagikOvenMit: why don't other companies have the same day release embargo? Is there a fee to put out an embargo that last until the release date that other companies can't afford?
Be one of the few that says "I'm here for MGS HD Collection y'all"Curious if I should head to a Walmart for the midnight release and see if any have a Hardened edition that isn't reserved.
Should I?

First tracked review on Metacritic 5/5 Eh.
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is an exceptional entry in the series, putting focus on multiplayer balance and accessibility as well as a slick campaign."
That just doesn't seem right...
I played it for a few hours, gave it a 10/10.
Then, I played it for a few more hours and beat it. 11/10!
Then, after sleeping on it, I decided on an 8.8.
But really, if people are going to buy MW3, will a poor review mean anything? 6/10, 11/10, the game will still outsell everything out there. If you liked MW2, I seriously doubt Activision will let MW3 stray too far from the beaten path.

Do you really need a review to know whether or not you're going to like this game?
Reviews serve other purposes.
Fap material.
The games been out here down under for almost 18 hours... yet there are no reviews? Anything goes after the game has officially been released. The Fuck activision? I want to know if this games any good, before I buy it. Makes me think they lack confidence in the game if they're holding reviews back as far as possible
