I've made it up to the Castle's Entrance quest, but the damn archer keeps knocking me back to the furthest distance from the gate. I tried spamming earthquake scrolls which are supposed to heavily damage everything on the screen, but that archer still survives.

Has anyone gotten past this part, or is it the endgame?

Use berserk potions if you have them. You'll run right past.

Using a Berserk Potion will make you run faster and be able to make it to the end before getting warped back.

Just go to Krieger and you'll be walking again in no time.

I got past it by using the berserker potion(one of them) at some random point in the quest. Not really sure when exactly I used it
Now I'm out of those potions so I'm just waiting to get stronger and stronger so I can farm that level because I'm not sure you can get more Berserker potions, sadly. Scrolls work good too, to help kill off enemies faster

Also, I thought it was a mage of some kind.

If you upgrade your sword enough, you are able to kill guys fast enough to scoot past the arrows/magic (I thought the same thing, @ZeForgotten).

upgrade your sword, A LOT. Once its powerful enough, you can slay through the knights fast enough, avoiding the archer.

I upgraded my sword all the way with healing, which still isn't enough to beat the knights without potions, so I guess I'm screwed. I guess I'll start over and try it the other way.

Yea, that's the one part I hate about the game. I was pretty much able to get past it with some luck and a beserker potion. The arrow follows you when you go by it, which is really stupid and annoying.

100? Does it go above that?

YES. Way above 100, that is most likely your problem. Eating candy boosts your health up.

If you can survive long enough, the enemies will eventually stop coming and you can just walk in, but you have to survive for quite a while (it's around the point when 17000 candies have dropped from enemies).

@psylah: You can make potions with the cauldron, which you either get in this level or the next level (which I completed on my first try after dying many times on this level). So if you have no berserk potions left (and have already used the wishing well and frog) then you'll have to do the level without.

WHAT. I thought it just wasted candy the more delicious way.

Nope! It give's you sweet health. Keep doing the underwater cave to get candies, eat them, and repeat!

Day 13:

I have more candies than I know what to do with. I have amassed about 79 million lollipops, which can buy me the next increase in candies-per-sec generation.

Do I go for the higher CPS, or convert them to candies and EAT THEM ALL?

P.S.: I believe I am at the endgame, I am in the developper's computer level and must beat the developer. When he gets to 1 health you must "hit the right key" to kill him. Does anyone know what that key is?

That key is randomized.
I just tried hitting every letter on the keyboard and eventually got it.

At least it's not a key combination like Alt + F4.

i just did everything there is to do today, keep on going! best thing to do when you are at the developer, try to save an invincibility potion for just before you fight and then roll a finger across every letter on your keyboard, q-p then a-l then z-m once you're engaged with him

@psylah: Nice! You're about 4/5 through the total "experience". I was obsessed over Candy Box; so, you can ask me any questions if you like! :)

And as ZeForgotten said, the key is random. My recommendation would be to hit an invulnerability potion as you are fighting the enemy right before him and then just start mashing letter keys on your keyboard.

@psylah: haha. What happened? My advice would be to keep improving your HP. I got to about 8k before beating him. Makes getting through the enemies a little more manageable; then it's just a matter of luck. Usually, if you can get to the developer, you have a 50% chance of killing him.

Alright, so I'm in on eating the 80m candies. Got the three-day weekend coming up where I can get more, anyways.

i never realized that hp = candy eaten because i am a functional idiot so i beat it with 110hp

Can anyone tell me what goes there?

@psylah: Horn of Plenty. It multiplies your lollipop production by 3. You get it by using the Get Me Out Of Here potion and teleporting to the cow level and defeating the cow king. I got it before even defeating the dragon.

What the fuuuuck.

I've been using the multiplier I get from using the Dev's computer to keep boosting my lollipop production, and farming the developer for billions of candies, then tripling it. I am going to see if there is anything at 10,000 mlp

Aaaaand my CPS + lps is totally exponential now. Will this cause any memory problems?
Can I leave this going overnight with the exponential candy earnage?
