Cho Chabudai Gaeshi is a Japanese arcade video game. The game's name basically translates to Upending Tea Tables in english.

The game is based on a well-known theme and trend in Japanese pop culture, the upending or flipping of tea tables. The action is seen throughout japanese pop culture areas such as anime, manga and films. The term Chabudai Gaeshi has even come to be interpreted outside of its pop culture terminology as a part of japanese speech or phrase used to describe the quick change of course in business. Some business publications have even described Shigeru Miyamoto as being an innovator due to his tendency to upend the tea table, completely scrapping work done on a game still in progress and starting once again.
