Cities Skylines: After Dark, the first expansion for Colossal Order's city builder, was announced today. The expansion adds:

• Day/Night cycle (part of free update released with expansion)
• Leisure commercial specialization (more active at night)
• Beach commercial specialization (beach bars, marinas, restaurants, fishing tours)
• Prisons (police will now arrest criminal cims)
• Taxis
• Bicycles, bike lanes/paths
• Cargo hubs, bus terminals (for transferring cargo, passengers)
• International Airport
• Bus lanes
• Flying Toasters

No date given yet, but expansion pricing is said to be in line with other Paradox expansions (which RPS puts at £4.99 - £9.99).

I can't wait for this update. I haven't played Cities in so long, and this will definitely get me back into the game.

Sounds great. I've been itching for a reason to get back into this.

Even though I have fire departments everywhere in my city, there's always a billion places that are on fire all at once.

Also i never realized they were called "cims". Cute.

I probably won't buy the expansion, but the free update with day and night cycles sounds cool. Skylines is a great game and I played a ton of it when it was first released, but I have no desire to go back to it right now. Maybe later on down the road.
