Clash of Legends

Overview

Clash of Legends is an artillery-strategy shooting turn-based mobile game developed by VGAMES Studio. The game was released on Apr 2018 on both Android and iOS. The game is themed in a Fantasy world (Orc, Goblin, Mages, Dwarfs,...), late medieval age (Swords, Shield, Spears,...), with a bit of twists of explosives (Bombs, Gryoscopter,...). In Clash of Legends, each players can choose to equip one set of Hero and Guardian and participate in the matches. There are various modes in Clash of Legends: Campaign, Normal 1vs1, Normal 2vs2 (Deathmatch, Score), Ranked League.

Gameplay

The last team standing wins and the game is played in turns. Each player choose his set of Hero and Guardian, along with 3 items to be used in each match. In each match, players are placed on random position on the play ground.

The match starts with the lowest delay player, calculated based on the base delay of each Guardian. Each turn has a limited time for player to perform actions, including moving, using items, and shooting the targets. Depends on the guardian skill and time used to act in each turn, the delay of the player will vary, thus affecting the time for his next turn. On each match there is a countdown until "Double Death" activate. In "Double Death", each player's shot is performed twice, increasing the output damage. One player is considered defeated when his total HP reaches 0, or he drops out of the play ground.

Each Hero requires 4 items to unlock and upgrade. Each item has different set of attributes (HP, Armor, ATK), skill, and are upgrade-able by collecting item fragments. Each Guardian requires guardian fragments to unlock and upgrade. Each Guardian has different set of attributes (HP, Armor, Delay, Shield) and skills. There are 3 skills for each Guardian: S1, S2, and Super Shot. Super Shot can only be used when Rage energy is filled. The skills of Guardians are not upgrade-able.

Tutorial

There are various tutorials that show you how to play in the game: How to shoot (appear at the beginning of the game), How to use the controls and How to use items (inside Help section button on the Lobby), How to upgrade a Hero / Guardian (triggered when the player gets enough fragments).

Campaign

There are 4 locations in Campaign section in Clash of Legends: Ghost Castle, Winter Island, Fairy Forest, Volcano Cave. Each location has 14-16 stages, depends on the location. There are 2 modes for each location: Normal and Hard. Player can obtain rewards after completing each stage and reaching milestones of each location. Player can also use "Raid ticket" to quickly finish a stage that he has passed before to get the XP without having to play.

Arena

In Arena section, there are 2 main modes: Normal, Ranked League.

In Normal mode, a player can create room with 1vs1, 2vs2, deathmatch, or score options. He can invite his friends to join, or wait for other players to join. After each match, a player is rewarded with Experience Points (XP), which allow him to advance his Rank. There are 23 Ranks in total. Each Rank will have different daily rewards, including: Gold, Items. The higher Rank, the more daily rewards a player can get. There is no cost on room creation, so there is no limit on how many matches a player can play.

The second mode is Ranked League. This mode is composed by Seasons. Each Season starts at 00:15 AM every Wednesday, and ends at 00:00 AM every Wednesday. Only players that reach Owl Hunter I and owns more than 3 Guardians can participate (including renting). Players who win a match in Ranked League are awarded 3 Arena Points and XP, losing will be deducted by 3 Arena Points with less XP. There are 5 Leagues in this mode: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Sapphire, Diamond. Each League has different set of rules, including: The number of bans, Wind challenge, Controls, League advancing requirement, and Season Rewards. For Bronze League, a player who reaches 45 points before the Season ends, he will advance to Silver League. For other Leagues, advancing will depend on the player's position in the League by the end of each Season. The higher the position and League, the better rewards.

Heroes

There are 8 Heroes in the game, each with different strong points and weak points. Each Hero has 4 evolution rank, from lowest to strongest accordingly: Green, Blue, Purple, Orange. After evolved to Blue, each Hero will unlock his special ability.

7		Sariel	Attack	Sariel can use her divine power and teleport herself to a targeted location.
8		Succubus	Attack	Sucubus can absorb her opponent's blood and heal herself for an amount of her damage.

Guardians

There are 8 Guardians in the game. Each Guardian has 3 different Skills. Similar to Heroes, Guardians has 4 evolution ranks, from lowest to strongest: Green, Blue, Purple, Orange.

5		Padion	Strength	Padion is blessed with Thor's power and can summon Thor to deal damage.
6		Gyro	Strength	Gyro is a heavy flying helicopter. He can shoot projectiles to his enemies and dealing critical damage.
7		Lancelot	Strength	Lancelot is a Knight Ant. By using his excellent burrowing skill, he can deal damage through terrains.
8		Scarab	Intelligent	Scarab is full of dark eletric power. He can shoot electricfied bugs which summon lightning strike, causing electrical aftershock.

Items

In each match, a player can bring 3 items with him. There are a few items with different abilities and delay cost:

• Double Blast: Shoot twice in a turn.
• Teleport: Teleport to the targeted location.
• Tannok's Potion: Heal for 15% maximum HP.
• Elixir of Rage: Increase 80% energy towards Super Shot (SS).
• Poseidon's Trident: Increase 30% damage per bullet.
• Cleric's Blessing: Immune to all damage in 1 turn.

Leaderboard and Rewards

There is a Global Leaderboard for XP, which user can acquire from Normal matches, Campaign, Arena.
