O'Brian was the director of the BSAA during the events of Resident Evil: Revelations who unbeknown to the various agents under his command was manipulating them in order to expose Morgan Lansdale as the mastermind behind the rise of Veltro and the destruction of Terragrigia. Shortly after the events of the game with his goal accomplished and the FCB's resources transferred to the BSAA O'Brian stepped down from his post and took responsibility for actions but remains an advisor to the BSAA from his home where he also spends his time writing detective novels.O'Brian is also an unlockable playable character in the Raid Mode of Resident Evil: Revelations (unlocked by completing all Raid Mode stages on the Abyss difficulty setting).
