Just bought this game today and i haven't been able to join a single multiplayer match regardless of the mode i choose. Has anybody had that problem?
Problems with multiplayer (ps3)
At first i saw a "problems" title with the "Crysis 2" forum name underneath the thread title, spit into my hands and got myself ready to bash that game once again like there's no tomorrow
but then i saw it's multiplayer related.. disappointment tastes sour.
Well, that's the problem, your NAT should be Open (Type 2).
@Axxol: When i choose a multiplayer mode on the bottom left it says Nat type: moderate.
Edit: This is how you can change your settings. http://www.pregamelobby.com/ps3-ps2-psone-discussions/5618-how-get-type-2-open-nat-your-ps3.html
@Ahmad_Metallic: To tell you the truth this game surprised me in a good way. It is not half bad.
No problem. I've had the same issue in the past. Sometimes you have to port forward on your modem and router (depending on the modem you own) or your ISP may not run an Open NAT. I had Clear 4G, which is incredibly shitty, and their customer service told me that they don't have "true open" NAT settings.
@Axxol: Dude thanks for the quick reply I appreciate it. It was NAT type 2 all along but for some reason i couldn't join a game. I guess it wasn't my console's fault.

But when you have played (and madly loved) the first game, that abomination of a sequel is nothing but a deadly strike to any expecations you had
