Broken - avoid the hype

That's right, broken.

1. you have to sit through the spoken dialog for each supporting character, sometimes at lengths of more than a minute. If you click on them again by accident, might as well break out a smoke, if that is your poison.

2. each dungeon (and there are alot of them) MUST be cleared of the monsters contained within before you can proceed. And each time you clear it, it gives you a on screen notification that you cleared the stage, and then forces you to listen to this terrible music before you proceed.

3. The first Dark Cloud was not easy, it was really well ballanced. Dark Cloud 2 is painfully unforgiving.

4. And finally the WORST feature in the game: you need to break down items to upgrade your weapon, in turn you need to break down three more items after that. You will find yourself sitting at the inventory screen for, literally, several hours in endless inventory tetris. This feature is worst than every computer game I have played that has inventory tetris, and this all is done with a ps2 controller.

I get angry thinking about the game, and now I hope you can see why.

MY cousin buys a lot of RPG's. some of them are good, some of them are greats and some of them.... Shadow Madness. Needless to say, i'm usually wary whenever i snatch something from his pile o' RPG's. Luckily for me, Dark Cloud 2 is actually a fun damn game. Shadow Madness, not so much. Dark clouds are on the horizon, but is it a awsome mind blowing level 5 hurricane... or is it just another tropical depression? Dark Cloud 2 is an action RPG, with hours upon hours of content.
