    Darkspore was a Diablo-style action RPG based in the Spore universe, featuring online co-op and deep customization features. It was shut down on March 1st, 2016.

    Will there be a recurring subscription with this game?

    The topic pretty much says it all. Will there? I was wondering because depending on that is whether i buy this game or not. I played the beta today and i liked it enough to buy it but not enough to pay $15 a month for it.

    I'm pretty sure it's going to be like diablo with just a one time cost. It doesn't look very mmoish I guess there really wouldn't be a purpose for a monthly cost.

    They might produce expansions with new quests, maps, heroes, & gear. Though the game seems
    very well stocked.  Expansions would probably be some new quests.
