    two uot of five? cmon

    dead nation is for me one of the best if not the best psn title. 
    i am a great fun of giant bomb but to give such a low review? 
    the game is dark because it gives you the sense of fear.   but dual-joystick shooters are all about brightly colored entities moving in obvious contrast to the background" this isn't stardust hd. i urge people to look at this game. 
     i think it's a gem. i still haven't played online but looking forward to co-op.

    I don't think 2 stars out of 5 is supposed to equal 40.  You're "metacritic-ing" it.

    This is why review scores need to go away.  Instead of discussing the merits or problems with the game, we are squabbling over review scores.  Know the reviewer's taste and how it compares to your own, read the full review text (more than one review if need be),  watch quick looks or game play videos, and use that information to make your decision.  Games are largely subjective.

    This review did not prove it's position to me, despite my wondering about the low score, and the rigid 5 point system in general. 40 seems too low. And after reading this reviview, 40 still just and only seems too low.. but hey Brad listed and defined his points well and  in detail.

    This game is a good example for short reviews being better as comments, and long comments being better as reviews.

      There's no denying that the game industry is pretty saturated with the "living dead" right now. With the Call of Duty  "Zombie Nazi" modes, Left 4 Dead, Dead Rising, and Rockstar's Undead Nightmare pack for Red Dead Redemption all making a showing, Housemarque was going to have a tough time marketing yet another zombie game in a sea of the undead.       Thanks to the Sony "Welcome Back" program, I got my hands on Dead Nation. So, thanks Sony.   But let's get down to the review. Dead Nation is a dual-joystick shooter set in it's own variation of the zombie apocalypse. Though that description doesn't really sound all that interesting, Dead Nation is actually a pretty good game, save for a few issues.
