    Dead Space 2 is the sequel to the 2008 surprise hit Dead Space. The no-longer-silent Isaac Clarke finds himself trapped on a city-sized space station called the Sprawl, which has been overtaken by another Necromorph infestation.

    Great Mix of Horror and Action

    The original Dead Space was one of the few games I rented, got halfway through the game, and went out and bought it. Why? I wanted to see this game succeed and make a sequel. After month of seeing trailers I finally got Dead Space 2 and not only does it stick to the same great formula that was in the previous Dead Space but makes it overall more enjoyable.  This game had one of the most intense action scenes I have seen in a game. You should know when you see it  SPOILER WARNING: Click here to reveal hidden content. First time in gaming when I paused the game after it happened, just to think about what poor Isaac just went through. 
     
    For newcomers of the series or to survival horror games, get ready for a fantastic horror/action game. For previous fans of Dead Space I recommend you start on Zealot difficulty. This is mainly because you kind of have an instinct to when something might come surprise you from the previous Dead Space, so giving yourself the harder difficulty will make fights more intense and overall scarier when you are in moments of "I GOT NO AMMO PLZ LAWD HELP ME!" The new enemies they added make the game much more challenging overall. Mainly the stalkers, who communicate to each other letting another know when you are looking a different route that his buddy will come around for a surprise rape. One of the nercomorphs throws up on you to slow you down and when there are stalkers around it gets very intense very fast. On Zealot mostly everything will kill you in two to three hits. Sounds insane, but after clearing a room full of necromorphs, you feel like  YOU ARE ISAAC CLARK. After you beat that have fun with hardcore.

    Wasn't expecting much from the multi-player. Was kind of upset they had a kill/death ratio in the mix. I took the multi-player more as a Left4Dead, just wearing the group down as the level progresses but it does not work that way. It is worth checking out after you completed the game. There is a level up system which seems like its in every game. I enjoyed playing as the necromorphs just don't expect it to last long. 
     
    Dead Space 2 is one of the best games in its genre and is definitely worth checking out.
