Not Good
I bought DeathKeep out of the bargain bin at the height of my middle school love affair with Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and DOS based computer games. The game has a decent opening movie that gets you pretty excited for what is to follow. Until you actually start playing it. The game is a dark buggy mess with poor hit detection and dizzying perspective shifts. The AD&D rules set is stripped down so much it is almost unrecognizable. You are allowed a choice of three characters but the dwarf fighter seems to be the only class with a chance at completing the quest. Each of the game's three main dungeons have a theme and seem pretty well designed but the controls make it a chore to navigate and combat is an exercise in agony. DeathKeep was the last Dungeons & Dragons game published by SSI a poor last effort with a wonderful license. Avoid this game at all costs.
