I found this out the hard way last night after grinding out everything for Touch of Malice except the last fragment I had been putting off, the Agonarch Rune. To break this down there are supposed to be 50 Calcified Fragments in Destiny. Three of those (End of A Failed Timeline, Strict Proof Eternal, and I'd Shut Them All in Cells) aren't currently in game, or at least haven't been found by anyone. Another 3 of those come from the Level 3 Court of Oryx Boss encounters when you use your own Antiquated Rune. But since only 1 of those can be done per week, you are stuck at 45 fragments now. Here is where it got broken. The other day some people found out that you could move your Agonarch Rune into your inventory when opening the Agonarch Chest, thereby keeping your Charged Rune, and like all other Destiny Chests, if you left the area and came back you could then reopen the chest. Since the Agonarch Chest gives out 1-3 Legendaries per drop and Moldering Shards this became a place where people where going to farm for legendaries and Moldering Shards. So yesterday afternoon, Bungie's Live Team decided the best course of action to stop this was to disable the event all together until they can fix the issue. So what this means is that the Eater of Hope fragment is no longer possible to obtain in the game as well. So if you plan of going after the Touch of Malice, make sure you go ahead and at least do this week's Court of Orx Level 3 Boss encounter with your own Antiquated Rune, because otherwise, you will be waiting a week to obtain Touch of Malice.
