So I'm at the end of Megan's quest, and I talk to her mother, tell her everything and now I am stuck at the tree, with no options to choose :( Anyone else got this? Know anything I can do short of not finishing the quest/restarting?

seems like a bug to me,  did you talk to Chet Wagner, seems a google search brings up that up as a major culprit of this bug.

No real fix yet, but I figured out what I did/had to do

I missed talking to the Chet in the police station and ended up annoying all the police so then he wouldn't spawn. However, I ended up having a save where I was to go talking to him, so I just went and did the quest to nab the achievement. I'll use that as my second run through or something.

This bug is so, so dumb.

@Mark: did you get Megans bracelet?

The bracelet isn't needed to complete the quest. It's just an XP bonus.

@blacklabeldomm: sure did, it'll be stuck in my inventory for a while I guess :P

@Mark: If it's not too late try loading the previous autosave.

I really, REALLY hope you're talking about that sidequest with Megan's mom (At the beginning of the game). If not, there are some SERIOUS spoilers in the TITLE!!

@Pie: Anyway, what I did was just mention an ordinary NPC (It's like saying a sidequest with David Sarif. That doesn't give out ANYTHING). What he did was mention a DEAD character so people who haven't played it through yet might begin to wonder what the hell is that supposed to mean.

And the logical thing would be to think that that character is somehow alive (Otherwise, how could he be in the quest). And that's a serious spoiler.

Yeah he is. Did you even read the first post? OP talks about talking to Megan's mother in the first sentence.
