Has anyone beat her on hardest? I guess I'll have to start a new game and just keep this save till there is a hack. Since I don't have emp protection i die in two hits and I can't out run her.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Game » consists of 17 releases. Released Aug 23, 2011
Human Revolution is the third game in the Deus Ex series, a prequel where players take control of augmented security officer Adam Jensen, and investigate attacks against Sarif Industries, a leader in augmentation technology.
the stealth boss is a load of crap on hardest
@Vodun: I like how he makes these topics and then beats the "thing" in 15 minutes without even getting input on it. Try another time before you start making a topic about it.
Stop acheivement whoring, the sooner you do that the happier you will be, and the more games you can enjoy.
I used to play hardest on everything before realising I have a backlog of probably a hundred fucking games because I like to pick them up on hardest and drop them.
Also, shoot any boss then run so it can't hit you and then shoot it some more.

i love when people play games on hardest difficulty then bitch about it being hard. I really do. It makes me happy.
I didn't even get to see any of her attacks, she's so easy.
Dodge her charge and tag her with the tracking marker. Then get up behind her and give her the ol' tazer. Keep alternating between shoving grenades up her ass and stun-locking her with the tazer. She shouldn't get a single attack off.
I've been playing on the hardest mode (I usually play on the easiest setting in games, but it's been easy as shit to stealth through this game on DX mode), and so far it seems every boss can easily be beaten by lobbing an EMP or concussion grenade at them, then loading them with bullets. The bosses have been cake. It only gets hard when they get a bead on you since your health goes down like mad.
She was pretty easy even on hardest. I just let her come closer, then used typhoon followed by shooting her with everything i got.
Haven't completed the game yet, but every boss battle I've encountered so far has been pretty easy and I'm playing on hard.
Beating each of the bosses on give me deus ex is not a huge challenge, the second was painfully easy, the third was a challenge and the first not really. Just takes time and creativity. I approached it like this: 1st boss, cover shooting, 2nd boss, typhoon, 3rd boss, turret paired with a leading chase

The Augmented jump was enough for me to get out of the range of her explosion spin thing. But she took the piss to die, mainly cos ive been doing a non lethal play through
Bosses don't count for the non lethal playthrough thing, unless you're just roleplaying it in which case I approve.
I beat her in one try. You just need to stun her with a stun gun and/or EMP and then unload on her with bullets.

I didn't think so, just changes how you have to approach fights is all.

I only did it for the S rank. Hardest section in any game I've ever played on hard was waiting for the chopper to pick you up with your disabled sniper buddy in the abandoned park in CoD4. Ridiculous.

Yeah I've done that section too, it was genuinely one of the hardest things I've done in a game, it took a lot of attempts but eventually it became this abstract puzzle I wanted to solve.
I kind of did this in a way, but what i did was use the stun gun on here, then the typhoon. Then i would keep distance of here attacks, follow here another stun gun and the final typhoon. It only took 2 stun gun and 2 typhoon attacks to finish it.She was pretty easy even on hardest. I just let her come closer, then used typhoon followed by shooting her with everything i got.

It really isn't that challenging. Just preemptively do the missions with the upgrades you need to unlock the special upgrade. If you plan ahead it's pretty alright.@Rhaknar said:

Honestly I find Namir to be a lot harder than the Dragon Tattoo chick. I'm actually still stuck on him as of this post. Yes I did screw up and get my augs jammed, so shame on me, but still it's been a bit frustrating.

Just use the stun gun. Stun, shoot her a few times, rinse and repeat toll she dies.
I used the stun gun tactic the second time I played through, except I didn't even fire any other weapon. I just used about 15 stun gun charges one after the other until she died. She was stunned the entire time and never fired a round. That was on the hardest difficulty of course, was also going for the no kill/no alarms achievements, so the only lethal weapon I carried was the 10mm pistol. So for people looking at this thread for help with the bosses:
1st boss: throw the green gas canisters found in the corner at him (it stuns him for a long time), then shoot him in the head with the pistol
2nd boss: just use the stun gun when she runs at you until she dies
3rd boss: no super easy way like the others, but I upgraded the pistol with armor piercing and even on the hardest difficulty it seems to have taken him down in less than 15 head shots. He will also glitch out sometimes if you take cover in the center dividing wall. He will just constantly jump over it again and again while you shoot him.
@Helios1337: Will have to try this when I get a chance. I hadn't picked any offencive AUGs at all. No Typhoon, no EMP resistance, no weapon specialties and when I ran into the 2nd boss I was pretty much ready to trade the game in (a rare occurance) as I felt that the choices you have throughout the game felt cheapend when you ran into a boss, almost like you can make the wrong choice in what AUGs to take. So i shall give it another go and thank you in advance for the advice.
i recently got this far again in my hardest difficulty playthrough and my strategy from medium didn't work (maybe i had different augs though). on medium i just dumped heavy rifle ammo into her and moved to the side when she charged at me. i didn't even have to reload but i do think i put the anti-overheating upgrade on the heavy rifle. i actually got her my first try!
this time on hardest i had a fully-upgraded revolver (including exploding rounds) so shot her with that instead and also managed to hit her with an emp mine a little sooner than halfway through, which made it a lot easier to get some headshots in. i think i fired about 10 shots but probably missed a couple. i failed with the heavy rifle a few times before switching to this strategy. i kinda wished i had jarate to short out her cloaking system though...
