I think this whole mass beta invite thing is a bone being thrown to the dogs while the team plans a late May to August release.

I got in last night, only played for about an hour so far have way to much work but it's awesome. I'm loving the story telling and my Witch Doctor is already a badass.

Have they actually added anything to the beta in the last couple months that would make me want to get back on it, because playing through the first act up to the Skeleton King for two months straight got boring REAAAAAAAALLY fast.

Nope. Only changes are that they've completely redone the drop and crafting system, and rebalanced the game so that SK is not as much of a ridiculous joke to kill (he's just a moderate joke now).

And yes, I got an invite. Not a bad game. Not sure if I'd buy it, but we'll see how it pans out.

Yeah, I was having major lag issues with their servers last night. My machine shouldn't have any problems with the game but it was hitching all over the place. I'm about to jump in again and see if conditions are better.

I've been in for a while now, but my brother did just get an invite. unfortunately I had already given him my account info to play it. He played about 13 hours, and his girlfriend played about 13 hours. We had a few hundred blizzard bucks! But yea, his beta invite... Not something he cares about so much, as he has played all the classes to completion.

Yeah, I got mine Thursday night. Haven't had a whole lot of free time to play it, especially since Battle.net was down for a lot of yesterday.
