I don't know why this hasn't been brought up on the site yet. But it is a thing and I for one hope it will affect blizzard's shenanigan ways and lead to action in EU (EULA's Have no effect here since they can't override consumer laws)
We'll see where this takes us, hopefully to better business practices by big game companies!
For us sad Europeans this is something to consider while waiting for servers to be up again :)
