People seem to be worried that Chinese and, with the new article posted on the front page, North Korean gold sellers are going to abuse the fuck out of the auction house and burning the game we've looked forward to into the ground in the process. Wouldn't it particularly make sense if the AH was limited by region, like, I don't know, Blizzards last game Starcraft II? Even then, the gold sellers would have to go through a certain third party bank to even attain the money, so by doing this isn't blizzard able to flag obvious suspicious activity? It seems for gold sellers to actually make profit in a safe manner, they're going to have to resort to once again, 3rd party marketing instead, but even then they'd have to bypass region lock. And since Blizzard is offering the exact same thing for legitimate customers, scam free, they take a HUGE cut out of the people who will be circumventing the system.
Is my thinking on this wrong, or has Blizzard found the best way to cut into and hamper gold farming?
