Just like to publicly thank Brad for talking about this in the quicklook. I honestly just was watching it for his funny reactions to shit going crazy and sorta half paying attention until I was like WTF?!?!

If anyone doesn't know you can check a box named explicit mode and it totally can change what abilities you choose. Just do a search on diablo 3 and that term, I'm sure people have mentioned it elsewhere. Basically you can are no longer limited to 1 skill per "group", but still the same amount of overall usable skills.

For those who are going to be like... DUDE WTF YOU ARE A NEWB!! Ok thanks... but seriously no tooltip or anything popped up telling me about that, how would you know if you didn't read online or someone told you (both of which didn't happen till Brad).

BTW I was freaking level 27 when I found out about this, and my skill bar totally changed!

Explicit would just mean everything was cleared stated. Like, you must walk 2 yards to the south west and kill the green zombie with an axe to complete this quest.

Also don't forget to turn on advanced tool tips so you can get the actual stats on your skills.

Yeah, just remember folks if you are under level 10, this mode might just screw you up more than help you as you have more skills than slots unlocked for them.

Elective mode is great once you're in the swing of things, but I actually really liked being forced to try everything out and getting forced to use a fairly balanced build.

I would play Diablo 3 if it had a exploitative mode.

Explicit mode gives you Big Bo as a character and Ice T doing his VO.

Yep. That's the explicit mode I know. Best option in the game. I have never known Blizzard to be so edgy before.

Hey, I just wanted to point out that the DVD version of Diablo 3 came with a fairly thick paper manual. Blizzard is still keeping the paper manuals alive, although I don't think there are any mention of elective mode in it, so that is a bummer.

So yeah, blame it on poor tutorials.

Agreed, Blizz did a bad job at telling people about that mode & haven't gotten enough skills to really make use of this but definitely will be looking forward to using it more then. Thx Brad!
