    Dirt 3 is the latest installment in Codemasters' long-running Colin McRae Rally franchise. The game returns to the series' rally roots with dynamic weather, a career focusing on team-based racing, as well as introducing the freestyle event: Gymkhana.

    Dirt 3 PC patch borks GFWL.

     E: Nevermind it sorted itself out. But still screw GFWL.

    So Dirt 3 just finished updating itself, so I jump in, and it doesn't let me log into live, claiming that my game may have been altered and to re-install and try again. 
     
    So if any you, using Steam, want to play this game online and you've not had it update, DON'T LET IT. 
     
    Obviously this may just be for me, but just a warning to everyone else.

    Just wait for the patch to patch the patch but hold off on that patch because there might be another patch to patch the patch that patched the original patch. 
     
    Tempted to buy this for the PC but after the problems they had on the TNT and this I'll wait another few weeks.

    @Suicidal_SNiper: I am pretty sure the TNT problems were their shitty PC, not the game. I have yet to encounter a single problem so far, other than this. Hopefully they will remove GFWL and let me play with my Steam buddies.

    @AlexW00d: Yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath about GFWL being removed from it. It would definitely be a huge plus and I wouldn't think twice about buying it.
