    Discs of Tron, the second arcade game based on the film Tron, takes inspiration from the Jai alai scene in the original 1982 film.  The game was designed by Robert Dinnerman.
    The game was originally released in the arcades in 1983 and was later ported to the Commodore 64 platform.  The game also appeared as part of the Gameboy Advance version of Tron 2.0.  On February 13th 2008, Disnety Interactive re-released Discs of Tron as part of the Xbox Live Arcade on Xbox 360.

    Davide Bagenski from New York, USA, currently holds the world record of 418,200 points.  He set the record on June 28th, 1986 as part of the 1986 Video Game Masters Tournament.
