The Doctor Who franchise does not have a storied history of adventure games. In fact there is very little in the Doctor Who back catalog at all. So with the rejuvenation of the TV series, and the go ahead to have a crack at a set of episodic adventure games, Sumo had the chance to create something that set the standard for Doctor Who games. I’m a huge Doctor Who fan. My Dad had dozens of the old episodes on tape and we used to watch them all the time when I was little so when Doctor Who came back a few years ago I was so happy. It was bigger and better than ever and I eagerly awaited every new episode. I thought a few times during Tennant’s reign that a Doctor Who adventure game would be amazing fun but I thought we’d never see it.
