Should I buy Dragon Age on the Xbox 360 or PS3 ?
I have been very interested in Dragon Age but up till now I did not know which system to buy it for when it first came out . So after seeing a price drop recently I thought that I should go ahead and buy it , but exactly which version should I go with the PS3 or the Xbox 360.
Thanks I may end up going with the 360 version then seeing as I haven't bought anything new for it since Alan Wake , also does either of them have longer/shorter loading times if so then which one?
" @Three0neFive: Your 10 years to late...... "You're at least a thousand years too soon.
I don't normally use my pc for gameing that is why I mostly use console platforms and had planned to buy Dragon Age for one of them . Do you think that it runs better on the pc over it's console versions and if so should I then pass on the console version and buy it for the pc instead?
If your PC can handle it then without a doubt get it on the PC. I hear they adapted the system well for a controller, but that type of game is much more suited for a mouse/keyboard setup. Plus there's a decent user mod community out there for free content to the main game, bug and balance fixes plus full extra stories.
If your system wont cut it then I'd go for the 360 version based on what I read in reviews and comments.

Thanks , I may have to go with the 360 version because I don't think that my pc would run the game plus I don't have the money at the moment to upgrade it.
PC is definitely the best way to play this game, but I played it on 360 and didn't have a problem with it.
I always buy mutli plat games on my 360. I reserve my PS3 for exclusives. I don't think it matters what console you choose... they will both look and play great.
PC has smoother more efficient gameplay imo, but I have it on the 360. I'm more partial to consoles, but either way you get a great game.
PC is by far the best, but that said i got it for 360 cause my PC couldn't run it and i had a VERY good time with it. It is a great game no matter the system you play it on.
that said, to answer your question, i'd get it for 360 over ps3 due to less pop-in and better frame rate (but as said elsewhere, PS3 does have slightly better textures, prolly the reason it has poor frame rate)
I play it on my mac, but wish I had it for 360....theres something about kicking back in the ol recliner with a controller in hand...
Edit: but, the interface on the pc version kicks the ass out of any interface they could make for a console....so easy to cast spells on the fly, etc
As someone who owns the PS3 and PC versions, and being mainly a PC gamer for the past couple of years, I can say I prefer the PS3 version.
I don't know, maybe it's because it was made easier (I'm pretty sure it was, comparing the two personally), or maybe I just preferred the controls. I didn't read the thread, so sorry if this is no longer relevant.
@ryanwho: I guess I'm an exception to your theory.
@amoremono1: I find it easier/faster to cast spells on the PS3 version. I guess it's just preference. I'm not a fan of using the number keys.
