I already own the game on the 360 but find it unplayable due to the camera and radial menus. Should I walk down the PC path disregarding achievements and refuse to leap over a console gameplay barrier? I mean, that action bar looks sweet.

If you've got the PC (and spare money) then yes you should. There are achievements for Dragon Age as well actually.

Are they Xbox Live achievements or just Steam achievements?

@EpicSteve They are Bioware achievements.  You can link your account to Bioware's social networking site and unlock them there.

@EpicSteve: They link up to your Bioware account. I don't think Steam supports achievements for DA.

I would argue that honestly, I think you are being quite too nitpicky. The 360 version works quite well and I personally have enjoyed it very much. So I would say keep going there. But that is just me :-)

Screw the achievements, anyway. The Dragon Age experience is far better on the PC, and I'd recommend anyone who has issues with the 360 version, if they have the option, to at least give it another shot on the PC.

I don't see how you can play it on a 360. I'm told it's do-able, but once you play the PC version, the differences will be like night and day.
